unkchen

  1. Awww, what a terrifically cute little froggy! ♥ I've always loved frogs - they're just so unique (lumping toads and frogs together, I mean) and fun to watch. One time as a teenager, I saved a frog from being run over on a long stretch of road. I'd been watching it sit there (I think it liked the heat of the pavement) for several minutes and not move when traffic came in the opposite direction (it was a two lane road). As a car approached (fear not, the car was easily 30 seconds away - this road was very straight at that point in it and you could see cars coming well in advance) and Mr. Froggy showed no signs of moving (he would have been crushed for sure), I quickly dashed out to grab him before it was too late. I've not held many frogs in my life, so I think that's why that story stands out in my mind. :)

Thank you very much for your blog comment yesterday. So, so true! Most modern day grandmas (both of mine included) do not dress like the stereotypically "old granny" at all, and few do in North America anymore. I look old-fashioned, but not like an old lady - there's a big difference!

Tons of hugs & happy Friday wishes,
    ♥ Jessica
