beige....

  1. A whole new meaning to the word "beige" - totally rocking it and looking incredible. I love those shoes and can I borrow your reptilian accessory? He's a beauty? xxx

  2. The snake is the perfect accessory, look how it complements your blouse and bangles! I don't see a granny - I see super chic Catherine Deneuve-esque glamour and stunning hair! xxx

  3. Oh my dear, I dunno why you call it "granny together" style, it sounds funny, but kind of far from the reality. :) You look retro-beautiful! Your hair are such a gorgeous silver tone, I just love it (my husband is lucky to have beautiful silver hair, and I am yet to find out what my gray hair will look like). Love your jacket with extra large buttons! Do you know Sylvia of 40plus style, yes? She has just offered "short jacket mini challenge", go for it! (I did. :)

Love the details of the building. And the snake looks beautiful, though I am not a fan, but it's a striking looking creature for sure.

  4. oh - the wonky translation...
    i tried to be ironic.
some folks would totally scream "granny style" if i would only talk about a beige skirtsuit, a brown sweater, gray flannel-y stockings and that bag combined with grey hair :-)
but i know - and your lovely compliments show - that when i wear it it would´t be dull.
will have a look over at sylvia´s. thanks for the tip my dear!!

  5. Awesome "prop" you had for this outfit shoot. That is one seriously beautiful snake! I don't fear (assuming they're not trying to bite me!) snakes in the slightest. We had some neighbors across the street from us for a while when I was growing up who kept large (non-venomous) snakes as pets and we (my siblings and myself) loved to pet and interact with those snakes when their owners took them outside for some sunshine. I think that those early interactions ensured that I never developed a fear or dislike for them as so many people seem to.

Great beige outfit, dear Beate. That suit has a really lovely Jackie O-esque vibe to it.

  6. You should re-title this Beyond Beige! Your outfit is very chic and I must say, although I could never hold that snake, it is quite a beauty. I will admire it as you hold it, as well as your lovely bangles.
I love the rich brown of your top, though can't quite tell what the fabric is, and I love the surprise of pink shoes!

    1. "beyond beige" ist great :-)
the top is knitted, cotton, zara/men - the girls tops of this spain brand would never fit my north european valkyrie frame ;-)

  7. Your frame is beautiful so I'm glad you find lovely ways to dress it. Even if you do accessorise with snakes. ;-)
