krötenwanderung

morgens komm ich aus dem haus und was seh´ ich im halbgefüllten teich?


2 innig umschlungene kröten.......


fix rettungsaktion gestartet. das männchen scheint sehr anhänglich, jedenfalls im moment.....


sind sie nicht wunderschön.....


als um mitternacht der liebe mann von arbeit kam war auf dem zufahrtsweg kein durchkommen möglich. also hat er einen eimer geholt und den weg erst mal geräumt. 


und den kleinen kerlchen eine expressbeförderung hinunter zum altarm spendiert.


die kleinem freuden der wildniss. ich hoffe es klappt mit dem krötennachwuchs - damit jemand schön die nacktschnecken und spinnen kurzhält.

  1. Ohhh, my gosh!!! They're adorable!!! I know that frogs and toads aren't to everyone's liking, but I've always thought they were wildly cute. They're definitely my favourite green animal! :)

  3. It's the sign of a happy, healthy garden when wild creatures come visiting and make it their home! We get lots of frogs in our garden too, because our neighbour has a pond, but the cats chase them, and make them squeal, which is very upsetting. xxx

  4. I can't say I'd want to cuddle one, but I think they are lovely and of course they are magnificent for the garden! Our smaller local frogs are being killed off by the American bullfrog which someone imported thinking it would be good for restaurants. We have lots of tree frogs here too and I love to hear them singing in the summer.
