hausarbeit

altes haus, ofenheizung.

  3. Beate, I do love your hard-working, down-to-earth, no fuss approach to life! Recycled clothes made for comfort, warmth and practicality are great, and of course your innate style means you always look great, whatever you're doing.
Google translate is barely intelligible, but I think you have written that you relined the tweed jacket - it looks beautiful! xxx

  5. I adore you on every photo, always. Your life style is very much what my parents still live (in their country home from Spring till late Fall), and what they grew up with - very down to earth, literally. I have so many questions to you. Now when I cleared some things off my mind, I'm going to organize my thoughts - will write you what I think about.

The lining is so beautiful - and the jacket got a brand new life!

You are so truly beautiful, my friend.

    Love you xxxxx

  6. The older I get the more I appreciate people who are not lazy and get involved in everything a house needs. I believe crafters are usually good peacefull people. So I admire you guys for all the hard work you do.
And I find your working class style wonderful. You create the working lady persona . The lining looks very special and matches the jacket. I also love this kind of buttons. Is it British style? anyone knows?

  7. As Curtise says, Google Translate really mangled this one but so much can always be gleaned from your photos. I love the way you live your life and envy your ability to chop wood. I would love to chop wood. Does hubby have a pipe to go along with his English tweeds?
Sending you some unwashed hugs. sorry. xoxoxo

  8. This reminds me of Africa where I chopped wood and used the wooden mortar and pestle a lot. What a stylish way to do chores too. xo

  9. You can lend a hand to anything! We are nearly at the chopping wood stage. We get ours free from our bush property. Planning a trip at Easter. Since Bushy is a forester, with muscles, I leave the chopping to him :-)
Love all your wonderful footwear, and aprons. I've started wearing them too.
That jacket is stunning! You should wear it inside out! Hubby is a lucky man. Xo Jazzy Jack

LG vom Krankenbett sendet dir Sabina | Oceanblue Style

  13. When I'm home and dressed (aka, not in pajamas or loungewear), there's a serious chance that you'll find me sporting an apron, too. It's a must all the more with a rambunctious dog in the mix, who is not only apt to want to jump up if she gets exited, but who can easily know things over onto my clothes, too.

Your classic apron is very pretty and colourful. I like a great patterned apron like that, too. It ensures that any outfit looks all the more exciting! :)

Tons of hugs & happy mid-March wishes,
    ♥ Jessica
