lange warme sommerabende........

    1. The beauty of the landscape here is it is an old cultural landscape - on top of sensational nature.

  3. The photo of the rays of sun is magical! Love seeing you with your evening tea relaxing in the garden - and what a lovely garden! When thinking about place to live for the next few years, my first choice will always be by the sea, but! when I see you and your lovely garden and house in the woods, I think - this is also beautiful, to live like Beate does. :) What will we choose at the end? Who knows. :)))

I loved your July reflection post! Beautiful! Peaceful! I don't think I could live in a city after a few years spent in a very peaceful area. Though it's nice to live close to the city and have many choices - culture, food etc. But my heart is in the country now.

  4. It's sincerely hard to believe that July has come to end. Goodness, what a lighting fast month it was! Granted, it's my second favourite of the year and surely that makes it fly by quickly, but still. It seems like three seconds ago that we were watching the Canada Day fireworks, two that it was my birthday, and now we're in August already! Goodness, let's hope that this month puts the breaks on even just a little bit more! (Doubtful, but one can always hope! ;)).

You had a lovely month and I adored seeing so many of the highlights from it here in this post and in previous ones throughout July. Google translate titles this post as "This was July" and I must say how much I like that title for a recap post. One could do the same thing for each month the year, if they wanted, and it would make for such an enjoyable ongoing post series.

Big hugs & the very happiest of August wishes!
    ♥ Jessica

  5. Beautiful country scenes. I crave that right now. I can hear my neighbors as I type and I live in a house if that tells you how close they are.

  7. July has been beautiful in your part of the world, Beate. Love those final two photos of you and your gorgeous garden in the sunlight, but then all the photos are wonderful, such amazing views from your hikes. More of the sane in August, hopefully! xxx

  8. So viele schöne Photos!

  9. Your photos are always so gorgeous! I want you to frame them all and display them. The colours make my heart pound! That's a very cute clutch and I'm so glad you put a banana beside it so I could understand the size of it! LOL
