dampferpartie

meine neueste sonnenbrille - sommerschlussverkauf drogerie

  5. Dear Beate, thank you very much for taking us along on this splendidly fun water voyage. Would you believe it, I've never been on a paddle wheeler (on the water) before! This might not seem so strange until you learn that I live in a town that has had one permanently displayed on the beach here at Okanagan Lake in Penticton, the SS Sicamous, which used to ply the lake in the early to mid-20th century. Paddle wheelers don't travel across the lake any more or else I'm sure I would have been on one many times. I'd really like to one day. They're so evocative of decades past and an more leisurely way of getting from point A to point B.

    1. thanx my dear!
i know the ss sicamous from a post on your blog! it´s a shame that this ships are not in use anymore in your region. the ships here don´t make a big money i´m sure but it´s living history and just beautiful.

  6. Oh, oh, those cliffs! I do love mountains, and seen from the river even better, and on a boat, even better, and through a round porthole better and better!!
How dressed up you look, for your man's special day. I'm sorry it was cold, but then you could go down and be cosy.
What a lovely idea for his birthday! Happy Birthday special man!

  8. I am late getting here, which is my new norm, but better late than never. So Belated Happy Birthday wishes to your very handsome and well dressed husband, who, Google Translate calls The Love Man.

Your outfit is now one of my favourites. It looks gorgeous on you and shows off your lovely figure. I'll bet The Love Man likes that outfit too.

The trip looks amazing and a perfect way to celebrate a birthday. The peacefulness must have been so delightful. Thank you for sharing the wonderful photos!
    xoxo
