I wondered where you'd been! Venice - how fabulous! We went for New Year 2002 - it rained all the time and was stupidly cold but it was still one of the most beautiful places I'd ever been! xxx
AntwortenLöschenAwww, you are wholeheartedly welcome!!! Thank you in turn for your always beautiful, friendly and uplifting comments as well. I've been so eager to hear about your travels and love that you started to share about them through this captivating vintage travel guide. I'll be on the edge of my seat for the next Venice related post!
AntwortenLöschenTons of hugs & happy Wednesday wishes,

Thank you for your warm and helpful comments. You like to loose yourself in the past, don't you? so much beauty there. I fee so close to the 40s it's almost metaphysical. Old photos, back and white are more artistic than color ones.
AntwortenLöschenVenice, how wonderful! I've never been and would love to visit. The photos in the old guide are a fittingly elegant taster for the pics from your trip, I look forward to seeing them. xxx
AntwortenLöschenI was worried you might be ill, so I'm glad to know you were having a lovely time in Venice instead. I am so envious of people who are well situated for exploring Europe. The distance and the cost for someone living on the west coast of North America is just phenomenal.
AntwortenLöschenThank you for sharing these pictures and taking me to Venice!
xoxo
How very glorious!!! The thought of Venice slightly terrifies me, but also enchants....sooo romantic, and i hear the food is amazing. There's a lovely novel set there, by Jeannette Winterson, that really made me long to go.
