  2. Mending, refashioning, meadow flowers, and secondhand clothes - all wonderful things, Beate! The Norwegian dress is a beauty, and the sailor blouse looks fabulous. What a great remake to give it a new lease of life. xxx

  3. Soooo good to get to know you better, Beate! Women like yourself are very intriguing - both pretty and feminine, but with such strong will and versatile adventurous interests. Both sides of you sure reflect in this outfit. :) Valkyrie indeed - there is light and strength coming from you. Beautiful in your "navy" outfit, and the zipper really made this piece a gem!

    Hugs dear friend! xxxxxx

  4. Such a gorgeous sustainable rain outfit! I love all the red touches and the wool socks just peeking out of those cute boots. I'm sure you could wear it anywhere. The top into a jacket is such a great idea, and looks perfect with the white zip. I also love the meadow flowers, so soft and delicate. I couldn't quite translate the mountain part, but are you saying you climbed it?! Also impressive the sharpening of tools. I like a woman who can fix things :-) well done. XO JJ

  5. Wow, Google Translate had troubles with this one! I do love the pictures though, and the decoration you made with the photos and the tray. You look lovely in your Norweigan dress and sailor shirt jacket. I am not quite sure if you are planning to let the moths eat the jacket eventually or if you are planning to eat the moths yourself.

    1. if i ever get tired of the jacked the moths can eat it - very ecological - in contrary to a goretex jacket :-)

  6. Your nautical infused outfit is slaying me with its fabulousness, dear Beate! What a fantastic symphony of red and navy layers, with touches of cafe latte brown in your boots and white peppered here and there, too. This is completely something I would wear, too.

Big hugs & happy Sunday wishes,
    ♥ Jessica

  8. Great unusual pieces and greatly put together. Have I said already your style rocks? I don't think so. Climbing must be such a character building activity, is that so?
